Despegar.com estafa
Nunca compraré con ellos otra vez. Publican fotos falsas de un hotel, hago una reserva, llego y las habitaciones simplemente no existen, cuando llegamos al hotel, nos dijeron que no tenían ese tipo de habitaciones. Los llamé me dijeron que es causa el problema del hotel le enviaron las fotos y no es su culpa y no pueden arreglar eso ni modificar mi reserva ni cancelarla.
Le dije que había pagado por algo que no existe! y estoy de pie fuera de un hotel, sin lugar a donde ir .. Dicen , vamos a tener que llamar más tarde .... por supuesto nunca lo hicieron ... Tuvimos que encontrar otro hotel y arruinó nuestro itinerario de viaje para ese día.
Llamamos y mandamos un correo a Despegar pero nunca ofrecieron una solución sino que repetían: Tenemos que cobrarles, es la política. No hay nada más que podamos hacer.
Posteriormente la dirección del hotel me dijo: ¡ah! Siempre tenemos problemas con Despegar.com, dejan a sus clientes abandonados una vez que han pagado... (suspiro)
Nunca más.
Por favor, eviten desperdiciar tiempo y dinero con Despegar.

I will never buy from them again. They post fake photos of a hotel, I make a reservation, arrive and those rooms just do not exist, when we showed up to the hotel they said they did not have those type of rooms. i called them they said it is the hotel's problem cause they sent the photos and it is not their fault and they cannot fix that nor modify my reservation nor cancel it. I said I had payed for something that doesnt exist! and Im standing out of a hotel with no place to go.. They say well. We will have to call you back later....of course never did...We had to find another hotel and it ruined our travel itinerary for that day.
We called and emailed Despegar but they never offer a solution other than repeating: We have to charge you for it, it is the policy. There is nothing else we can do.
Then the hotel management told me :ah! We always have trouble with Despegar.com, they just leave their costumers on their own after they pay....( sigh)
Never again.
Please save your time and money with Despegar.
